Keith L. Jeffcoat is a seasoned product development expert, engineer, and custom blade maker with over 25 years of experience building high-stakes precision surgical and cutting instruments. As a leader at Planatome, he directs the manufacturing of the world’s most surgically advanced medical sharpening and polishing technology. He mastered the art and science of bladesmithing through decades of technical experience in the precision medical space and through the forging of high-end custom blades at his shop, Jeffcoat Customs. He further refined his techniques at the world-renowned Bill Moran School of Bladesmithing and trained under industry legends like ABS Mastersmiths Mike Williams, Greg Neely, Rick Dunkerley, and Ray Rybar. A resident of CaveCreek, AZ and driven by a passion for the hard-working western lifestyle, he founded Jeffcoat Ranch to fuse elite engineering precision and advanced metallurgical prowess with the ancient art of forging.
